Early Stage East 2007 a Huge Success

Early Stage East would like to thank the sponsors, presenting companies & supporters of this years 10th Anniversary. Once again, Early Stage East was a huge success.  Held on June 13th and 14th at DuPont Country Club, the event had over 450 attendees from across the United States. Many noteworthy things were accomplished this year. 

This years Sal Buccieri Venture Memorial Impact Award was awarded to E. Rogers Novak from Novak Biddle Venture Partners. Novak Biddle Venture Partners is a premier early stage venture capital firm located in suburban Washington D.C. with over $500 million under management. Their first three funds have been ranked in the top quartile of all venture funds for returns.  Roger is a  leading early stage venture capitalist with over 25 years of experience.  Roger has been a part of Early Stage East since 1998.

For the first time Early Stage East honored three individuals with the Founders’ Award.  This award was given to John Hurley, Founder, TechCapital Magazine; Doug Rainey, Editor, Delaware Business Ledger & Dianne Strunk, CEO, Eastern Technology Council for their continued support of Early Stage East.  Each of these individuals has helped to promote Early Stage East over the past 10 years.

Bio-Life-Tech 2007: December 11, 2007

This year Bio-Life-Tech will be coming back to Baltimore, join us for this year’s event that will be limited to 250 invited guests.  Last year Bio-Life-Tech attracted over 250 of the industry leaders to Princeton, New Jersey; we will be back in Princeton for Bio-Life-Tech 2008.
