Company to Watch: Biosome

“Early Stage East was an excellent opportunity for making new contacts and providing exposure for our company” said Charles F. Saller, President and CEO of Biosome, a former presenting company at Bio-Life-Tech Princeton.
Biosome is currently developing products for drug discovery, biodefense, and food safety using a patented innovative nanoparticle based technology. These products range from tools to determine whether or not a potential drug will reach its target to tests that rapidly detect pathogens such as E. coli and anthrax. Following the development of drug discovery products, Biosome will leverage its technology to develop products for pathogen and toxin detection for markets such as biodefense and food safety either through in-house R&D or licensing agreements.
